I have been thinking in this quote all week, I mean ALL WEEK!
"The mystery of ministry is that we have been chosen to make our own limited and very conditional love the gateway for the unlimited and unconditional love of God" Henry Nouwen. Wow!! wow! and wow! what a quote!! This means that it is not really my job, is not what I do or how I do it; it is His job and what He is doing through me. Uff!! I big heavy weight is taking out from me. Tremendous mystery, don't you think so? So why in the world we act, live and dream like is what we do that matters? Don't we listen? "We are not the healers, we are not the reconcilers, we are not the givers of life"Henry Nouwen.
"El misterio del minsterio es que hemos sido escogidos para hacer de nuestro limitado y muy condicional amor la puerta para el ilimitado e incondicional amor de Dios" Henry Nouwen. ¡que grueso!, pero ¡que grueso en verdad! ¡que tremendo pensamiento! Esto significa que no es mi trabajo, no es lo que yo haga o como lo haga. Es Su trabajo y lo que El esta haciendo a travéz de mi. ¡ijoles! un tremendo peso se me ha quitado de encima. ¡que misterio! ¿no creen? ¿Entonces porque actuamos, vivimos y soñamos como si fuera lo que nosotros hacemos lo importante? ¿Que no estamos escuchando bien? "No somos los sanadores, no somos los reconciliadores, no somos los dadores de vida" Henry Nouwen.

I think what we do does matter. Ultimately God's mission will be completed. Until then we are to live a way that allows people to catch glimps of God's Shalom.
